Commentary:
The next appearance of Man-Bat after his two-part "Rebecca Is Dying!" saga (B&B #165 & DCCP #35) was in a two-page poster by George Perez in the middle of DC Comics Presents #38.
DC Comics increased its pages and price for books cover-dated October 1981, which caught books like DCCP flat-footed because of its inventory of previously purchased stories. So instead of trying to somehow come up with two additional pages now required, DCCP #38 decided to give us a beautiful George Perez mini-poster. This pull-out picture purported to feature Superman and every guest-star he had met in the pages of DCCP up to that time....including Man-Bat!
Look closely and you'll see Kirk Langstrom right there in the bottom right-hand corner. He's actually flying right above George Perez' signature!
Look REALLY closely and you'll notice that there is no sign of Aquaman, although he appeared with Superman waaaay back in DCCP #5. Sigh.

Was this poster reprinted in Showcase Presents DC Comics Presents: The Superman Team-Ups Vol. 2? If you have a copy of that book and could let me know I would greatly appreciate it. I would like to think that it would be reprinted there, but cannot verify.
