Red skies and anti-matter clouds are destroying multiple earths. This time out, the Crisis is attacking Earth-X. The Freedom Fighters have tried to analyze what is going on, but they are at a loss. Still they intend to go down fighting, rushing into the white anti-matter cloud to try to save their world.
Review:
The CRISIS maxi-series has been going on for five months now, and the Freedom Fighters have finally shown up. I am glad that Earth-X wasn't one of the worlds that died earlier, such as Lady Quark's world or Earth-3, home of the Crime Syndicate. As we shall see, the Fighters end up playing an important part in the remaining issues of this series.
This time out we get all six original members, and they conveniently call each other by their code-names so that first-time readers will know who they are. Firebrand is absent this issue, but we will find out about him soon. In the meantime, we can all enjoy this beautiful George Perez version of our favorite team and salute their bravery in the face of death.
Freedom of Information
- Firebrand does not appear in this story.
