Happy Birthday, Minnesota!

Today is the anniversary of Minnesota being admitted to our United States of America.

Date of Admittance:
May 11, 1858

Parentage: The word "minnesota" is a Native American word meaning "sky-tinted waters."  The territory was purchased from the French and stolen from the Native Americans.

  1. Nice video find. And I did not know Minnesota has given birth to Dylan AND Mike Farrell! Two of my favorite things!
