This issue is one of my favorites for a few reasons. Basically, it's a huge love letter to three separate Red Tornado stories: the first (his debut) in JLA #64 by Gardner Fox, his initial return to the JLA in #106 by Len Wein, and his return to the main stage in JLA #146 by Steve Englehart. I'll have more to say about these bits and pieces in the afterward, but first up: this cover, based on the cover to JLA #64, drawn by Dick Dillin and Jack Abel. I put my credit on Hawkwoman's back, there in the lower left corner.
